In all seasons, the Hedgehog waterfalls offer a constantly renewed spectacle, in the rhythm of the Jura nature. They owe their existence to the "Hérisson " (hedgehog), an energetic torrent which takes its source at Saut Girard, from the lakes of Bonlieu and Ilay. Nature has shaped this teeming valley and created no less than 31 successive jumps, which constitute these famous waterfalls.
